Was there a case for two stops at Bahrain?
Quali polr position time was: 1'54"1
Race fastest lap was: 1"58"2 That is a 4 second difference, I can't help but think that there may have been a case for a second stop for fresh soft tyres with 10-12 laps to go If Hamilton had tried that with 12 laps to go, he would have came out right around his team mate in 6th or 7th position around 45 seconds from the lead, but he could have been at least 3-4 seconds a lap faster than the field the rest of the way... Why did no one try this? |

As we discussed in another thread, we only had a snap shot of how does the new regulation affects overall race. And all teams are running conservative approach on their tire choice and pace.
Let's wait 2-3 races and we'll get a better picture....
