Geico tried to sucker me into 2.5 grand a year for my car and an old hyundai....said screw them, went to progressive and paying less than half that...

I have Geico... I'm only 19 but I pay way less than that. I assume you have some amazing traffic tickets or a history of crashing

im 20 over here... clean record for 3 years, 0 tickets and geico just dropped $25 a month of my premium. Pay about $3600 a year in Staten Island, NY. Can't wait to hit that 25yr mark.

Wow, that's expensive! I only pay ~$950/yr with Geico and pretty low deductibles on my 3er.

Being 25 doesnt change much IMO...My rates started to drop when I was 20-21. I did not noticed any change when I go to 25. It's a myth.

u never lived in NY m8, my first new car hummer in 2007 cost me 8g per year, i`m 29 now, no car accident or anything. Just cuz its NY. For My X6 5.0 i`m paying right now 4g per year.

wow thats crazy. I thought our insurance was bad here.
But im 22, car is worth $85k and i pay $1000 a year.

Wow, I pay $2400 a year for a 2008 135i, 2005 Subaru STi and a 2005 Acura RL. I can't imagine paying that for just one of the cars.

im 18 and I pay 3200 a year.. Not bad at all. You should have seen what I was quoted from Geico before I went to AllState.. Geico tried to make me pay $4000.

umm its not that ridiculous. i've never heard of quotes that bad in the NY area. you are just getting ripped off.
some of it does have to do with credit, as well as income.
