Do not disagree, but as it was pointed out it depends on who cranks on the numbers.

However, the newer nuclear breeder reactors allow for the fuel rods to be recycled and reused so less waste to bury in the ground.

As it was pointed out above, if the technologies was allowed to move forward they could make the entire process of creating the fuel rods more efficient. That will never happen now.

The big down side is if when a mistake happens it gets real messy. But the FUD mongers out there are wrong since if you look where the US dropped Bombs all those long term bad things did not happen. Japan, New Mexico and The Bikini Atoll are all surviving and we do not have Mutant Monsters walking around.

Yeah radiation is bad for you but it is not what everyone things. You know France gets the majority of it electrical power form Nuclear energy.

I personally rather have bitchin fast electric car than a okay fast gas car. The only down side is the charge time.
