BMW M1 / 1M Concept spotted under cover at M Division?!
Check out this pic:
It was taken by Mark at M Division in Munich when he picked up his M3 ZCP (original thread HERE). Look at the end... there a hidden car. Not shure.. but it doesn't look like a covered M3... Maybe the M1 ? What do you think? |

No it is M1.
It looks like M3 E46 just because the lid looks like M3 CSL E46 lid. But look at the rear archs and specially on the rear side window with homeister knick, it is 1 Series Coupé. Also why to hide an M3 E46? Old picture? No,at that time there was no M6 in Frozen Grey. And what does the Inca Orange BMW do there? Just as Scott said, the M1 is inspired by the BMW 2002 Turbo and that is why it stands there. |

Wish we had a better pic to show the wheels. But the kink is too high up to be an e46. Def looks like an e82 to me

What about the rear, is there no bumper cover yet? Sharp edge on the corner and also the lighter part that sticks out under the cover? |

Hey guys, sorry to burst this bubble 'cause I'd have liked nothing better for this to have been the new "1". I think I discussed it in my blog for May 10th.....it's an M3 painted in a brand new color that I wasn't allowed to look at let alone photograph. It was NOT the new Frozen Black because it'd already been previewed in China. And I was close enough to definately discern that it was an M3 under there, not a 1.
The new "1M" was in France the day I was there. Apoligies - Mark |

If you zoom into the pic, which I did, you can see that the protruding cut-line that runs from the front of the wheel arch to the door handle and all the way to the back of the car before it fades is reminiscent of the 1 series coupe. Dont you think? Or maybe its just wishful thinking.
