Signature limted

Why only up to 4 lines?
Used to be many lines, but now it is limted.

Because people are putting in rediculously long and dumb sigs in, had to regulate it

When you sig is too large, too many graphics and colors it only distracts everyone

When I changed mine it stated that I was limited to only five lines but I could only get four no matter how I formatted it. I couldn't even take something from my second line and put it on my third line without the system going berserk.

more importantly limit the size, some douch bag has about 6 pics in his sig taking up about 1800 pixels in height

Mark, I too was having trouble trying to add a line. I tried removing an existing line but that didn't help. Does the wrap in the formatting window cause any problem?

Not too sure to be honest, I will play with different sig lengths to see how wrapping effects the line limit etc,... will let you know

I had an issue earlier too where despite it saying I was allowed 5 lines, I could only get 4. What is meant by a "line" is vague since technically I had 5 lines or less, but the box would wrap it so of course that looks like more than 5 but in reality if it were to let me do it, it would've displayed properly.

Needless to say I shaved it down further to fit what I could in.

Mark, I don't know if this will help you, but I tried again and completely removed the signature and saved. Then went in and pasted in the four lines I wanted. When I hit preview it was fine, but then when I tried to save it scolded me again. So after some cursing I composed myself (to the extent that is possible) and tried again. This time I pasted in and went straight to save. It worked.

It's almost as if something is being added... null string or something?
