Top Gear's review of the latest (there isn't much are there anyways) Formula 1 game...

I was never really into this franchise. I'm patiently waiting for GT5!!

Hope that you are willing to wait another 5 years for that damned game. I seriously think that its going to be the next Duke Nukem Forever.

We've all been spoiled by GT5 and Forza 3

i actually have it. yes, graphics blows, but it's actually pretty fun game. i mean, i can't play more than 2-3 races because my hands gets tired. but it's a really fast and entertaining game. the career mode is nice. i started out with the sauber team of course. i can't wait for the ps3 version.

I'm sure they'll think of something else to delay it. I have a G25 setup all ready to go for it too, ridiculous amount of time for a release. Considered getting an Xbox just for Forza but just couldn't justify it to 'she who controls the wallet'.

exactly what I was about to post. I play the track in question a week or so before the next grand prix, and then every time I watch them on TV I know exactly what corner they're on, how flat-out it is, etc. Don't get me wrong, I have been watching F1 for over 10 years, so I already knew that, but F1 2009 really gets me in the zone.

It IS a really fun game, it captures the excitement of racing, which is what it is all about it. I have played many a simulator racing game that just weren't fun.
If you have a Wii, I strongly suggest you try it. And YES, there is a more grown-up, steroids version coming out later this year on PS3 and 360.
