I'll be going from NY too. I'll be spending Thursday night in Livingston Manor and leaving in the morning around 7. I'm hoping to catch FP2.

My brother in law and I are both driving our bimmers Thursday for a whole 3 day stay outside Montreal... we like to meetup guys driving up or maybe have a meet with the Canadian guys up their like Jaypod..

your thoughts?

its hard to find a seating chart, but how it works is lets say your in the grandstand facing the track, section one would be the first section in the grandstand all the way to your right. works the same with the seat numbers. As for rows, double letters are the lower rows and singles are higher up.

Let me know if this makes sense to you

I am section1, seat 2, in GG in Silver 15... I've only been before once, in 2006 and did general admission.
vgame64: GET THERE EARLY. as in, EARLY. There are only a few spots to watch from in the hairpin, because there are some trees in the way and the grandstands block the view. And they are full early, so you will spend the whole grand prix trying to catch a glimpse of it. It can be very frustrating, because it is right there and you are missing it. There are other spots around the track for general admission, but this was the best IMO. Be ready for a lot of sun and bring something to sit on.

GUYS, don't forget! open house on Thursday 9-12, go in the pits, walk around, for free!

it's kind of a canadian gp tradition.

p.s. I MAY have a ticket for friday if someone is interested... I am in the silver 15 (hairpin) send me a PM and we can swap numbers in case I don't go that day

heading up early saturday and staying on st. denis. just got GA tickets for sunday, thanks for the advice on best place to see the race. how early would you recommend getting there? 9 am? 7am? just want to make sure i can see!!

Im leavin in the am from Long Island... How can we all get together when up there? Also, someone mentioned a "boarder shoot" coming from NY. It will be four of us for friday/ sat night... We definatly will be partying!
