Do I make a whole new thread or just announce it and someone else makes it? I just went thru the list of all the previous runs, I think I have an idea that hasn't been done yet. They really should make a section just for the contests, or at least a list of what has been done so we can reference it.

Congrats Sylon! great pictures everyone. The theme left a lot of room and I enjoyed seeing all of the different interpretations of it.

Btw. I'm a novice so I'm completely open to any C & C of my entry. I have thick skin and want to improve so any comments are appreciated. Thanks.

You make it all... just copy and past the rules and format from the last one, change all the date and themes (and make any amendments you want to include) and toss her up there.

Thanks. It was a busy, off angle background so I decided to mask the size of the subject (a 3" tall figurine sitting on a porch railing) and what was behind it (a tree, part of a building, part of a lake, part of a parking spot etc.) by making the focal length as small as I could to blur everything else out for that effect.

I live near Grandview in Columbus. Great part of town to live in if it fits your lifestyle. Just the right mix of accessibility, city life but not ghetto life, affordability etc. I am originally from Akron though. I really liked your pic also. I have been to Cleveland many times, but it was almost always to go to the ball park so am unfamiliar with that statue. Nice pic though
