My 1967 Camaro in it's street car years (I am restoring it now):
502 BBC with 8-71 Supercharger - probably around 700 ft-lb of torque. The Camaro kills the 911 Turbo to about 80 mph (if and when it gets traction) and then the 996TT flys by like a F-22 on full burners.

That I've owned... 1969 Ford Torino GT 428 CJ Ram Air. Rated for 440 ft pounds and 335 hp. Real numbers were higher around 475 ft pounds and 410 hp.
It was a lot of fun as a first car for a 16 year old. |
