The silence killer routine.
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday ... facing the sea. Is a good place to go to forget. Police cars, people, noises, just the city behind.
I leave my family watching the TV. On the breakwater still's smell the sun. |

Non-English speaker entering his Spanish into a Spanish-English translator.
If I enter an English phrase into a Spanish translator and then back again, here's what you get: Original English: Twenty years ago, bringing a computer to school meant something luggable at best. A decade ago, students faced a tradeoff: a computer they could tote to classes or a more capable, powerful machine for the dorm room. Now, by contrast, it's easy to find a powerful notebook for under $1,000. Too bad the price of tuition hasn't gone down. Translated into Spanish: Hace veinte años, con lo que una computadora a la escuela significaba algo luggable en el mejor. Hace una década, los estudiantes enfrentan una disyuntiva: un equipo que podría bolsa a las clases o más capaz, potente máquina para el dormitorio universitario. Ahora, en cambio, es fácil encontrar un portátil potente por menos de $ 1.000. Lástima que el precio de la matrícula no ha bajado. Translated back to English: Twenty years ago, bringing a computer to school meant something luggable at best. A decade ago, students face a dilemma: a team that could bag the classes or more capable, powerful machine for the dorm room. Now, however, it is easy to find a powerful notebook for under $ 1,000. Too bad the price has dropped in enrollment. Not quite the same, is it ?? |

think he has said that himself
but everytime I read it, since I'm fluent in both languages. I try to figure out what he's really trying to say but that still FAILS its almost poetic in the fact none of us have the slighest idea, yet we check out all his threads. "On the breakwater still's smell the sun. " that has to be out of Shakespeare or something, maybe old english? |

That's actually not bad considering it's a free online translator - wish I had something that accurate back in HS when I was doing french translations on babelfish
My gf is Albanian and as a joke I translated some stuff into Albanian using google translate - she was really surprised at how accurate it was |

Yeah, that was using Google translate, and surprised me how close it was. Perhaps a different translator wouldn't be as close. Here's the same translation using Yahoo babelfish: Translated to Spanish: Hace veinte años, traer una computadora a la escuela significó algo luggable en el mejor de los casos. Hace una década, los estudiantes hicieron frente a una compensación: una computadora que podrían tote a clases o a una máquina más capaz, más de gran alcance para el cuarto del dormitorio. Ahora, por el contrario, it' s fácil encontrar un cuaderno de gran alcance para $1.000 inferiores. También malo el precio de la cuota hasn' t ido abajo. Translated from Spanish back to English: Twenty years ago, to bring a computer to the school meant something luggable in the best one of the cases. One decade ago, the students did against a compensation: a computer that could tote to classes or one more a more able machine, more long-range for the quarter of the dormitory. Now, on the contrary, it' s easy to find a long-range notebook for $1,000 inferiors. Also bad the price of the quota hasn' t gone down. Quite a bit different. Google translate wins. |

sometimes try to translate as literally as I can, word by word, and that brings confusion.
On the breakwater still's smell the sun ... mmmh, "on the breakwater you still can smell the sun" so you can understand cleary Yes, another day is gone, you have been worked like everyday, go to the bar like everyday, then your wife, the kids, the dog ... same over and over. On the breakwater i can enjoy at leats 20 minutes of non-thinking while smoke a cigarr, just chillin what left of the day (still smell the sun). Im happy with my life, but i miss some of freedom, like if was Spud Webb dunking, saying: i can fly!!!! oh my god!!! you must give me a 10 motherf***!! |
