they all look just like oem rims, only thing i can see going wrong is them being made of plastic |

There's nothing wrong with reps as long as you get a reputable brand. I'd stay away from some no name brands found on ebay. If you check out the wheel section on this forum you'll see more than a few different companies selling rep wheels. And if you inquire about any of those I'm sure you'll have people chime in with their feedback on how satisfied/dissatisfied they are with them.
As for myself, I'm on my third set of Linea Corse wheels from wheeldude. Not b/c each of the previous cracked or bent, but I got bored of the style after owning each for a year. I'm not the one to say rep wheels are better than BBS or HRE's etc.. If you can afford it and won't put too much of a dent in your bank account, go for them. Yes I drive a 50K car but that doesn't mean I paid 50K cash. If I did, I probably could afford some BBS LM's (so sexy). For my financial situation, rep wheels made sense to me. But for sure I would stay away from no name ebay wheels. If something happens to them, it seems impossible to be able to get them warrantied, etc.. |
