Just Had To Share
Ladies/Gents.
You know from my history I have posted a few vids of my favorite artist. I had to share this as somehow, I can honestly say these two songs touched my heart...especially the second. Hope you enjoy it as well. |

Some would say it's a gimmick, but he's been "Buckethead" for 22 years. Just his thing and he wants to stay anonymous. This is from the late 1990s in Spain.
Watch him live if he ever comes to your town or newar it...ridiculous what he can do live. |

I'm simply stating he wants his face and life to remain anonymous. There is only 1 confirmed public picture of his real face in existence and a few videos from before he created the Buckethead persona. |

Some of his best stuff pre dates those experiences. He's still putting out incredible music, however. It's all different kinds of stuff. Thanks for listening. |

Indeed. And yea I definitely knew of him before he was the rock band/guitar hero artist. I have to say when it came out on who he REALLY was.... I was a little more impressed, and saddened at the same time. I remember the rumors (now that I think about it, it woulda been probably closer to 9 years ago) of all the big names people thought he was... then he came out to be a 'no name' so to speak. to show my age, and my knowing of buckethead....this is the song I still think of him with, and it was a newer song when I heard it: http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...6314020842191# |

I always knew he was his own player. The comparisons just never made sense. Slash was a popular one for a long time, but Slash isn't 10% the guitar player. You name him, he's been compared. The closest match is Paul Gilbert. Their connection makes sense because Gilbert "taught" Buckethead and they both grew up in California (though I suspect they played together more than anything). Gilbert is technically on par with Buckethead, but for me, Brian is a better overall musician and more versatile. I'm glad to see someone else share the love and know a little more than the standard. The guy is incredible and has countless songs with a wide variety of style. One of my favorite videos...so epic...No one properly uses effects better: His time with Praxis was stellar: |
