Hi,

in the for sale forum I notice many threads that forum members post unnecessary criticism of a for sale car/part. I think it should be an option to lock a for sale thread, disallowing any comments. Then the only method of contact is private message.

I am just tired of responses such as this:

Your car is not worth that much"
You will never sell it for that price"

Which make it necessary to watch threads like a hawk and defend your sale item.

So please, 1addicts and Bimmerpost, make it possible to lock your own thread.

Because I believe many people must get perturbed by the unnecessary comments and resort to ebay and craigslist - no longer allowing the sale to go to a fellow enthusiast.

with of course the option to edit the original post, and tell when a car is sold.

You already have that option.

Check the Thread Tools tab. There you can Open / Close your thread at will.

I thought I had that link. But the last couple of BST things I posted, it wasn't there. Yet I KNOW I've used it in the past. Very strange.

Oh I see that this is an option on e90post. Thanks! It would be nice for it to be an option on 1 addicts too!
