Well, I suppose you can always get a higher GPA and register earlier than others. That’s how it works up here. Ends up in a lot of kids taking on some kind of useless but easy shit during the semester just to boost up the GPA. More money for the school.
If you’re just talking about the classes being filled to the brim, I remember sitting on the stairs in organic chemistry. Yea sure it was a fire hazard but no one ever gave a shit. |

it doesn't work that way here. it's however many units you have. more units you have, you get to go first. and it's not being "packed" in class. there are absolutely 0 classes that i can take. literally i cannot take it because it's full and i can't even register for the class

I assume these units are something like accumulated credits? If that's the case then it's a very inefficient and backwards system.
Are you trying to aim for specific major? or just graduation/diploma? |

if i understood your english correctly....some school are making exception for classes.
I know that i didnt complete all my GE requirements but because i have so many units and everything extra like being a boss, they said to skip bio and all those junky classes and just work on my major requirements. Not sure that helps All im saying is talk to the schools you want to go to and they will have the answers. Not that hard. E90post will not have the answers

then that means you fucked up somewhere. or your guidance counselor did.. Unless you're at your senior year, you should have a plethora of available classes to take. Might not WANT some of them, but they'llb e there

You said all your GEs are done, I'm assuming you're not in your senior year. There should be virtually at least ONE GE left in your schedule until your senior year. Packing all the GEs in the first year or two isn't the way to do it, in any university. Simply for that reason. GEs are easy to get into, major classes fill up quickly. |

agreed, if you transferred over from a JC, take it easy for a semester until the classes open up.
I don't know what your school was like, but at Pitt.. there were back end ways students could register ahead of the mass population, might want to plan ahead for the next semester. |
