Chrysler interiors

This is waayyyyyy off topic, but over the weekend I had some relatives visit and they rented a 2011 Chrysler Town & Country. I was SHOCKED at the quality of the interior. I've heard that since Fiat got involved with Chrysler, the interior quality of all the vehicle lines has improved. They weren't kidding! Soft touch leather and plastic everywhere. Even the steering wheel has a thick rim that felt great to the touch. It's almost as nice as the M-Sport wheel I have in my 135i.

Why couldn't of Chrysler done this in the past??

Pretty easy to come up with spare cash when you declare bankruptcy what....3-4 times? Take a butt load of money from tax payers, etc etc.

Why couldn't Chrysler do this in the past ? Well, they focused too much on making trucks and SUV's and quality was secondary. Chrysler knew back then that they would make enough money from truck and SUV's, that the overall quality of their cars didn't matter....until now. I think the government should have just let GM and Chrysler go bankrupt....NT

I 1000000% agree with Chrysler, Chrysler should have died 4 times over at this point. The fact they're still around speaks to how fucked up the system is.

GM I kinda feel shoulda died, but I think that would have caused way too many problems. As much as I wish they would have, I really do think the economic consequences would have been huge
