hi pal very sorry to hear about your e90 problems, i had 2 diesel bmw's and will never ever buy another diesel car again, no one's prepared to buy or tradein used diesel cars, no matter what make, stay away from them, diesel engines are made for bakkies and tractors, it will never ever be more refined than a petrol engine, go and buy the e90 330i sport u won't be sorry. mines 3 months old now with 2500km on clock, had the e46 330d previously, no comparison.
all the best hope they sort u out which i think bmw will. |

I'm also sorry to hear about your problems! That's really uncool.
I also have a 320d. It was a July Production car (Any idea when the faulty parts were running through?) Well, so far I've got nearly 7000km's and no problems *touch wood* Driving up to the pilansburg tomorrow, and down to durban in Jan - so this Beemer better behave. Really enjoying my car! How much km's you clocked up? I know of two people who have had their 320d's replaces (by the dealers, not bmwsa) because of engine problems - again as E90Fleet said, the amount of problems are relatively low... When did you get your car? (Ps. I'm away till monday night...so I'll only reply then) |

A 330i Sport is almost R100 000 more than a 320d. If you give me R100 000 - I'll go buy the 330i ...and I'll even fork in for the extra petrol cost on my own. AND in my experience, it is no more hassle trading in a diesel than any other car is in decent condition and the milage isn't sky high. *FLAME* |
