If you want to complain about car prices try to buy one of those cars in Denmark. Good luck affording them with the 180% car tax we have here.
On the topic I really like the white color.

Still not 100% convinced on the frozen range, but I like a lot of these individual colours
Then again, I am biased! http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=530418

Usually people will say that if they think the only difference is in color. Truth is, this is much more about the actual paint and quality. The Individual has (as far as I could tell in real life) no orange peel, and much thicker clear coat (15 layers or something silly). So you get a MUCH better paint, similar to the custom ones you get from a top level shop, but with factory application (i.e. all in correct direction and angle, etc - cant be matched by regular shops). So it's probably worth it but not on cars like 320d lol. It's probably worth doing this to something like the M3 CSL or something like that, collectible in other words. Wouldn't bother with regular daily drivers though.

Does that mean BMW's are more exclusive and rare in the EU or do people there just have more money than us Americans and can afford it?

$100k for a 330d x-drive M-sport? No way, even if it had 24k gold flakes in the paint job. I'll take my US-spec 335i M-sport for less than half that amount, thank you very much.

It seems that they quite often and regularly change the displayed Individual cars. I was last year in August in Munich and took some pictures of the cars.
Few weeks ago I found a facebook profile of BMW Niederlassung München where they show even more of the Individual cars. I must admit that I'd rather visit BMW NL München rather than BMW Welt. There are no crowds, free parking places and you can see not only Individual bimmers but also Alpinas and Minis http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?s...00283613349750 |

Thanks for adding your photos Jack. Yes, this BMW Niederlassung is quite cool. Plus right across the street is the two wheeled BMW Niederlassung for motorcycles. I meant to take a look inside but ran out of time. And then there is the FIZ and M GmbH (prototype engine assemblly) also in walking distances. Everytime I go to the Welt - I am kind of disappointed bc the same old cars are always on display there. Seems like it takes them eight to ten months before they pull a car off the display area at the Welt. Btw... there are several BMW Niederlassung's in the Munich city limits. This one was just up the street from the Welt though. Dackel |

They are common in Europe the problem is the Euro is stronger compared to the dollar so it cost more in Europe to buy a BMW.

just about all modern cars have orange peel from the factory, id love to see a factory painted BMW w glass smooth paint. my '99 M3 has very little orange peel but the hood was repainted due to a deer. Spent a whole day wetsanding and polishing to remove it. The results were dramatic. Same principles apply to factory paint as well, it can be removed by a professional. Before Sanded halfway Sanded fully polished out (1st stage of polish, followed by 2 more)
