Question 7 Series Colors

I am looking for a gently used Alpina B7 in Alpina Blue, but my chances are slim in finding one. i expanded my search to the regular 7 series and am totally dismayed by the absolute boring selection of colors ! Black , Silver, and White ! What's the deal--why are there so few available in blues, or burgundy--anything but the blase 3 colors most are painted ? I'm shocked ! help me understand !

I'd assume the typical 7 series driver isn't looking for too crazy of a color. You might need to look opt for an individual paint job which can be hard to find used.

Here's one (assuming you're interested in F01).

I'd also recommend considering the quattroporte.

7 Series are owned mostly by senior citizens or business executives. Two demographics not known for their flashy sense of color. Somehow I don't picture well a Crimson Red 750i.

Used to be able to get them in Imola red, back in the E38 and early E65 days.

Ugh, the color balance on that second shot is terrible, this coming from someone that daily drives an Imola Red car.
