If both Red Bulls would have DNF'd the Austrian Sprint because of crashing into each other, the chill atmosphere between both team mates / team hates would have dipped even further sub zero.

The relationship was already beyond repair since mid 2022. A catastrophic crash yesterday, could have triggered Helmut Marko to replace Perez at once by Ricciardo or Tsunoda for the rest of 2023. Perez may be happy that Verstappen managed to keep his car under control in the rain with two wheels on the wet grass.

Ferrari may have taken inspiration from RBR but Charlie is struggling for the third race in a row with the wet/dry conditions plaguing his driving pace making him say the car is as bad as it ever was with the further blow of being pushed back 3 places by over zealous stewards.
It's clear that trying to copy RBR has many trap doors so Ferrari and Merc also ought to try to think for themselves instead of studying images of the underside of Perez's stricken 19 at Monaco and then spending many hours and monies guessing how the follow up is from the floor.

Some good news for Leclerc is that the race should be dry with only a minimal chance of rain but very unlikely with a temp of 23C giving him every chance of making amends and moving up the order of course dependent on the Ferrari tyre strat ..

Norris has lost his right to appeal the five second penalty for creating a gap for his teammate before a pit stop at Montreal when the safety car was deployed and McLaren said it was a not yet known rule that was brought in using Norris as a precedent for it to be implemented.

This sport is frustrating to watch. 1st place is a forgone conclusion. Ferrari doesn’t let a faster driver pass a slower driver race after race. This isn’t racing. Aston Martin’s faster driver doesn’t want to race the slower driver.
