Her bio is outstanding. Part time model, spokes woman for Goths for Christ, lives with her "heterosexual" female life parter.

^Well she has gotten the desired effect. People are outraged by the article, but stilll researching her bio, talking up her website, etc.

As the old saying goes there is no such thing as "bad publicity" and she's eating it up.

I've read on multiple outlets that you can see flailing arms trying to get out ~23 seconds in.

I've watched it multiple times and I done see anything. Deep down I really hope they died in impact. I find it hard to believe that the extent of damage to the car was surviveable beyond impact.

Autopsy said 'traumatic and thermal injuries'. Tranaslation: they can't tell if died on impact or burnt to death.

Could have suffered paralysis before burning. Either way, sucks. Don't think that kind of damage would have happened going 45, though, looks like there was some generous mph's behind all that mess.

The one news report I read it stated the cause of death was due to "auto verse stationary objects"

I find it hard to believe that that mangled wreck was the result of a car going 45mph too. I mean, when you see the videos of the National Highway Safety Ins. crashing cars that's at 30mph and the damage is nowhere near as severe.

That tree looks too small and thin to still be standing there when supposedly a speeding car hit it. That tree does not look like it would sustain a hit by a car. If it were bigger and thicker it would be another story though.

I think the picture from google maps is a bit old. it also shows a different speed limit for the street.

Carbon fiber is strong. In the way it was designed to be stressed. No so much in other ways. Most of the time carbon fiber cars will look much worse on impact than an alloy vehicle because the carbon car essentially shatters where ever it was impacted.

That being said, i don't know if a CGT is made from carbon fiber, was just assuming. But even so, i have seen some mangled cars from a relatively light impact. Come to think of it, my mother was driving her Boxster to her tennis club and my father was driving home from the tennis club. She was turning left onto the road he was on. He was turning right onto the road she was on. She had a green arrow and made the turn, a car going a police estimated and father confirmed, 35 - 40mph hit her car towards the rear of the passenger door. My father described the collision as looking like an F1 wreck as there was debris flying everywhere, including the passenger rear wheel with flailing suspension bits attached to it. I saw the car at the body shop and it was jacked up. After seeing the car i realized why my father was so shaken up and was somewhat in disbelief that she walked away from that wreck. The driver's seat was pushed up within 8" of the steering wheel. If she were a taller person, that would have put her head into the A pillar. I was surprised how much over all damage was sustained by the car for such a low speed accident.

That is a good point. Its actually a CF monocoque but is still a unitary construction, so there is added support from bulktubes and box sections. Even so, being a unibody, it is supposed to help reinforcement with the exterior of the car working together. CF will shatter and look like a tremendous amount of damage. I'm not saying they were going 100+mph, but the extraneous amount of damage that car took, looks like it was going at a higher rate of speed then 45 (but we are all victims of speeding here and there).

i read the frame of the CGT is only 220 pounds. That is amazing.

Mr.tonka you are absolutely right about these exotic wrecks looking worse than what they are, anyone remember that Lambo (i think it was an aventador) that was clipped by a car and split in half? Impact speed was very low as well. it split so seamlessly, it was weird.

I do not believe that is gas line, I believe it part of the watering systems they use in CA. The reason I say that is because ever once in the while when northern CA would get a cool spell those things would freeze up and burst spraying ice water all over the street.

They other point that would never expose a gas line like that, way too dangerous. It looks like someone is trying to explain why the car burned up.

What a human being, not just a celebrity. I'm sure lots of people, celebrities or not, give their time, talents, and money to better the unfortunate people of this world. Just amazing.
