See I choose to believe he's super petty. He dodges any goodell questions with a huge smirk on his face, because he knows he needs to win first before he can do something about it.

Plus in my head, when he did his interview last night and thanked literally every member of his family first, that was a shot at Rodgers who's family hates him. Yes he praised him earlier in the week, until Aaron got demolished by the Falcons, hence the shot once he knew he was ahead of him

So you think after he wins the superbowl he is going to comment on goodell and deflate gate? I don't think so. It will only hurt him in the long run even though it might feel good to throw a dig at him.

No I doubt it, I was just saying I wish he wasn't such a genuinely good guy. It's less fun. Would love to see him rip the trophy from goodell and push him aside. At least Belichick and Kraft have a little petty in them, I'm sure someone will hint at it if we win

Oh, if they win and he says anything like "when they scored, we felt deflated", "thought XXX aspect of the other team was soft" or even a "we couldn't gauge it" comment...he'd be my new hero.

I think a similar game plan to sunday will neutralize the falcons well. Smother julio jones and make the other guys complete plays. Allow the short passes and keep the offense in front of them, no huge gains. Then let Brady do what he does. Need another big game from Hogan and Edelman to keep those 1st downs coming

At first I thought our defense was lacking sunday, but once I realized they were hanging back a bit it made more sense. Can't give out 20 yard+ plays, make them earn it 5 yards at a time

Isn't that what the Patriots do every game? Their plan of attack is usually short passes and runs, then long passes every now and then. Seems like they've done well with that so far.

I think a heavy run could help too, power with LG, then to white and Lewis on the wheel route. Falcons are weak at stopping the run ( 28th and they had the lead most games). Take away the crazy plays when they are behind in score

Easier said than done. Plus Sanu has been going off in the playoffs. If Matt Ryan stays hot, it will be a high scoring close game.

Yeah all of you guys are right as well. We've stuck to the same game plan for awhile now, take out their best receiver. But I wasnt insinuating it was an easy win, if both teams come to play it will be a hell of a game. I agree about LB, hopefully hes amped up after carrying the whole steelers defense on his back the other night
