Fedor would own him on the ground, I'm sure. Those long legs of his are nice targets for leg submissions. I haven't seen that much of Fedor's stand-up but Sylvia has a defty reach advantage, doesn't he? Than again, if Kharitonov (sp?) was able to maul Schilt, anything is possible.

overall i was happy with ufc 84. the prodigy kept his belt and the axe murderer is getting back on track. glad to see that 07, the year of upsets, is behind us

bah not a fan of Penn. i was really hoping sherk would have GNP'ed him to submission. but i guess i finally saw the penn that dana had been hyping up since he came back. we'll see what Penn does when huerta comes knocking.

anyone gonna catch the EXC this weekend? its on CBS for free

Same here. I never could stand Penn. How Sherk thought he was doing alright standing baffles me. I guess I'm not used to standing in my opponents range while I'm out of my own range.

I'm happy Wand won, though!

man that elite xc show was horrible. terrible production...reminded me of a low budget wcw nitro with its weak entrances and dancers. it had some hope with the first few fights but it just went down hill. really disappointed with the stoppage of the lawler/smith fight and the kimbo fight was a disgrace. hopefully the WEC fight will be better tomorrow
