Boone needs to sit Gardner. I know he's been a good servant for the last 10 years, but he's not hitting and can't field his position. Plus, he has no arm to throw people out from left field. Him, Edwin E., and Sanchez are killing them. The rainout helps the Yanks for game 4, but helps the Astros for the rest of the series. Tanaka has to be perfect again like in game 1. It won't be easy.

So since the Nats will be well rested, they should start Strasburg G1 for sure. Asteroids will probably counter with Cole or PED Verlander.

Such a frustrating game. Cole issues 5 walks and we couldn't make him pay. I thought we got a hold of a few balls, but all felt short. Must win tonight.

I’m not quitting on them either unless they lose tonight, cause then winning 3 in a row is very unlikely. If they win these next two, it puts Houston in a tough position on whether to risk bringing Cole back on short rest to stave off elimination. Let’s go Yankees!!

I’ve been cheering for this team ever since Hensley Muelens was touted as a 5 tool player. I see the writing on the wall.
