The Dutch (and the Flemmish too I guess) have been displaying Lions in their coats of arms for almost a thousand years.
Nowadays it's the symbolic national animal of the Netherlands. Quite silly really because as far as I can tell there never have been (wild) lions around here. We do have deer, rabbits and foxes though

The release the lion / orange army nonsense is IMO some dumbass outburst of nationalism that doesn't belong to motorsports at all. True motor sport fans have their favourites but at the end of the day respect all these guys getting behind the wheel and risking their lives. At least that's what I experienced on GP stands all over the world.

- Just a Dutch guy very much enjoying the fight between Lewis and Max and respecting them both. And looking forward for the new kids Charles, Lando and George to join the fight for WCD!

It's strange but on some English translated site blogs there is nothing about Max's car latest too eagerly chosen FIA inspection and even going into Dutch translation there is nothing of it! There are things going on this island a lot of fans here are not aware of.
