This track is the second longest out of all of them, just Spa at 800 metres longer.

That may be the one thing that limits a crash fest, if the field gets spread out a bit on the long track.

I reckon that's right but the start will be the tell all and Alonso's prediction of no calamity could be right.

It's always so funny to compare these laps with the laps from the safety car:

Now the safetycar is of course an aston martin Vantage, which I consider 'a fast car', and you hear the tyres squeal in the corner (so the driver is giving it the beans), but man does it look slow compared to F1

On camera everything always looks slower so I don't think I can even comprehend how it would look like actually sitting in an F1 car.

Exactly . It looks like the safety car runs in slow motion ..
