Well I did the upgrade right away and know of other people that did it as well and I have no issues with the phone.
I have not had a chance to try the wireless charger in the car as of yet. Just trying to get this thread back on track and want to know if any others have used the wireless charging yet and if it solved the problem |

Apple must have pushed out a fix. My Apple Pay is working again. Thankfully I didn’t have to go the refurb route.
Other than this minor speed bump my iPhone 15 Pro has been pretty good. |

No damage was done, the chip was in a bad state. I can confirm that this update both gets it back into a good state AND prevents it from happening again.
The failure to verify the update is likely unrelated to the BMW charging issue. |
