No what ifs in football. Losing that game shouldn't affect how the team plays the next game or season whatsoever. If they were serious contenders to be a "dynasty" they would have bounced right back and been playing today

But in other news, I really hope the pats don't blow this. Only bad thing about being a NE fan is that when we lose, the whole country roasts us. Prepared either way though, no excuses

You simply don't understand, don't expect you to since the pats haven't lost like THAT. It's demoralizing.

And it's no dynasty- but divisional rd every year for 5 years isn't too bad.

We'll be right here waiting if the Pats lose

Fair enough, just giving you a hard time as game day has me a bit pumped up haha. But no worries, I'll take a loss gracefully. In all honestly, crying Brady memes / pats jokes are some of the best around. If Brady wasn't on my team I would roast him non stop. So much ammo there to play with

You earn a dynasty, not "start one". It takes a lot more than one play. TBH, living here, I'm so sick of people whining about it. Pats had an undefeated season going into the SB and lost to a statistically inferior Giants org - a whole season of excellence, not one flipping play to smack you around. They lost though. They lost two years earlier, again to the Giants. I got over it a few days later, along with the rest of Patriots Nation. People in Seattle don't get over it. It's now three years ago, and I still hear it all the time from so many whiners.

Seahawks need a huge overhaul to get to be a contender again, starting with a new management organization, coaching, then work on the players. Nobody wants to talk about that though, they just bitch about a stupid play from years ago, that there's just as likely a chance that they DIDN'T make it into the endzone. You'll keep losing with that formula, guaranteed.

Our tradition every year is to bake a cake representing the team we're rooting for. And we won three out of four times. But I know the odds are long today. Plus, this is not so much a pro Falcons cake, it's much more of an anti-patriots cake
