Really a lot of the inconsistency so far is the usual slow start to every season because nobody plays their starters in the exhibition games. Can't really tell what a team is gonna be like till after 3-4 weeks.

Yes, we struggled against the Bears in Chicago in a game the Bears should have won if Howard is more worried about catching the ball at the 1 than being blown up by Alford. Lucky to get the W but I'm taking that game with a grain of salt. Week 1, new OC, and playing in a city we hadn't won in since the 80's.

Week 3 in Detroit without Vic and possibly Schraeder should be interesting...

The Saint's WON'T be a factor...

Cowboys can fix their issues. They have players injured, players coming back from suspensions, Dak will bounce back, and Zeke will never have a game like that again. Denver will make a lot of teams look bad at home. Giants have an awful offensive line, no run game, Eli continues to look awful, and their best offensive player won't be at "full" strength for 7-8 weeks. That's something they can't easily fix during the season.

Yea. its a good year to take off from football for me anyway. I bought a project home that takes up all my time. I watched a little of the first game but the commercials were just out of control. The prime-time games suck to watch with all the whoo-haa. I just can't listen to Gruden and Collinsworth. I like when Aikman and Johnston commentate; fair and they stick to the game not the off field stories.

Not a Gruden fan here either, but I just don't understand the Collinsworth haters out there. Lots of them though.

Tonight's game is worth watching just for the entire world to see what a fantastic TV analyst Tony Romo is! I always knew he would excel as a television personality. Great character. Great smile and intelligent.
