My first bimmer was a 2001 325i. It was automatic but I used the tiptronic gear shift an awful lot. It was a sad day when I got rid of it and I still regret it. She was a real beauty.

I was blessed to have a E46m3 as my first BMW and this is what it looked like 3 months after ownership.

It's just look close but it's not on the curb it's in front of my house.I always leave it close as possible to avoid getting side swiped or better yet the NYC way of getting your mirror taking off. Haven't hit a curb yet but thanks for the concern.

This BMW is my first 335i Convertible but it probably won't be my last, for a long time I was with Nissans (I've owned Maximas mostly, 3 Altimas, a Juke and currently a 2014 Rogue).
I'm leaning towards trading my 335i in for an M2 convertible. |

1971 BMW 2002 Colorado Orange bought new in Knox TN. It had dealer installed A/C and no radio. I transferred the eight track tape player from my out going 442.
Back in those days people would ask- "does BMW stand for British Motor Works?"

My first BMW
When I graduated from Syracuse in 1975, I needed a car for my first job. I bought a used 1970 BMW 2002.
A college roommate had one, and I was impressed with his Bimmer. I joined the BMWCCA to get a discount from Circle tire on Bilstein shocks. I added a Weber carburetor, Bilstein shocks and Pioneer Supertuner. I was able to do the tuneups and oil changes. The 2002 would ride nicely and do well in the rain with the skinny tires. Eventually, I sold the car to my dad to help pay off my college loan. Being established, I later leased a BMW 320i. The picture of my first BMW is a Polaroid...
