shot i took of my mom a while back, there was a support beam that came down behind her head that i was able to get out in photoshop. pretty surprised how well it worked. However, i never put her head in a clean spot, so there's a horrizon line going into her chin

Thank you. I noticed the corner, too, I think I should try to smooth it out some.

I duplicated the layer and then moved the bottom layer down a bit to where the horizon was where I wanted it. Then I put up a layer mask and took out the existing horizon. I had to tidy up some around her chin because lowering the bottom image brought her chin in that image directly where the horizon in the top image needed to be, but that was just a bit of patching. Then I used the blur tool at 35% opacity to smooth the new horizon.

it's been solid rain here since the beginning of april with the exception of about 4 beautiful days leading up to mothers day....

there's almost some sun right now, but there's still rain forcasted here.

it's pretty depressing.

Pretty warm and sunny here, nice after two days of rain.

Mark, when you used the blur tool it looks like there are some artifacts back there. Looks cool, like mountains way back there.

I tried to capture a similar image, but could not get the drops. I'm thinking time for a better lens.

Here's my rain shot...I'd show you guys the arc I'm building, but don't want to give away any design secrets.
