Nevermind Because SIG doesnt have any active safeties to see? I own also a 225 and a 229, find the 229 as daily very comfortable.

Based on the last several posts, I feel I can't post this photo without a disclaimer that the guns are so empty, I even took the battery out of the flashlight/laser sight before photographing them.

The Hybrid I got will work for my 9, 45, .556, and 5.7. The Octane I got for free should work with the 9, 45 and .22lr (since you can service yourself)

I thought about going that route but wanted dedicated cans for each guns. My 9mm suppressor has a booster, the 45 does since it will live on my scorpion. plus i have 3 kids so the more I have to hand over to them later in life..

That BOGO deal is way too tempting to pass up. Just got a Chimera for my SCAR17 and an Octane for my FNX45T

My only pistol is a 9mm HK P30, so another pistol is next on my list. Some directions I'm considering:
A. Buy a used 9mm Glock with the intent of fully modifying it. I haven't done anything to my HK and feel the itch to build a customized pistol like I have with my AR-15 rifle and Benelli M4 shotgun. B. 45 cal Springfield TRP Operator 1911. I don't have a 45 or a steel pistol, and this seems like a nice piece that isn't too expensive. C: The ZroDelta Z9 is intriguing. It's a Glock Gen 3 patterned modular 7075 aluminum pistol. This might just split the difference of the above. Not very committed to anything now. Considering other options... Perhaps a some other 1911, a Sig, or maybe a CZ.

Looks cool and handy, plus the angle of the grip isnt that way like the Glocks. One of the disadvantages in my opinion.

Another route you might want to explore if you plan to modify a glock is to get an 80% lower and completely build yours from scratch. I think this will be my next project for a g17 or 34. All that being said, my 1911 is in my range bag for every trip, along side my ruger mark ii .22. both of these guns are just a pure joy to shoot. |

Thinking of ditching my M&P40C for a Glock 43 or S&W Shield. Anyone have input?
The M&P40C was my daily carry until I started carrying my XD40SC recently. Stopped carrying the M&P because it just feels too heavy for me now. I'm a thin guy and it is now annoying me enough not to carry. I carry everything in a Crossbreed IWB holster. |

Of those, I like the Shield the best myself. Just feels good in the hand and seemed to shoot well for me. I have not shot the Glock, but I carry a G19 and have nothing bad to say about them.
Have to agree with blau - my CZ P07 is one of my favorites to shoot just because it is so accurate and smooth (much quicker follow up shots for me). If they had more accessories for it, I would likely carry it instead of my Glock.

I carry an XDs 45 when I need something smaller than my G19. If I was to get something different it would likely be a Sig P938 SAS as I love my P238 SAS but prefer a little more stopping power with that few rounds.

I always take some time on Independence Day to visit the range and remind myself that it was ordinary citizens with firearms who won my freedom over two centuries ago. Exercising my 2nd Amendment rights is a little nod to them each year on July 4.
Today, I took my AR and the only two polymer handguns in my collection: I'm a traditionalist when it comes to my pistols, generally preferring all metal construction, but the Walther P99 AS and H&K USP Compact are both sweet shooters, so exceptions were made. |

Put 100 through the AR with the BUIS today.. This thing shoots so nice. More accurate than I am, especially without my Vortex 1-6.

Here's my favorite range toy, which I used as my training wheels for going through the NFA process for the first time right before the ATF dropped Rule 41F on us.
Walther HK 416 clone in .22LR. Can shoot the little bugger all day long for less than a nickel per round. With cheap Amazon red-dot and laser, it's fun for all sorts of plinking games. Of course, nowadays hardly anyone bothers to do SBR builds, thanks to the ATF's relaxed ruling on stabilizng braces. I'm still glad to have set up my gun trust, because you never know when rulings might get reversed, and suppressors are still NFA items. |
