In the mid-1930s SS (Standard Swallow) Cars Limited in the UK added the name Jaguar to their line and in 1945 dropped the SS entirely.
This is a very rare 1936 SS Jaguar 100 3.5 litre open tourer.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Pininfarina-styled Ferraris but in the early days, there were a number of coachbuilders who bodied Enzo's creations. Here's one of the more attractive and rare early Ferraris: The 1952 342 America in cabriolet form from Vignale.

Vintage Quarter Midgets
Photo taken taken in April of ‘58. I’m sitting in solid black car on
the extreme left. The car owner is standing behind the car (a local rancher near our town). Location is Santa Maria, Ca. I won my first race and eventually 2 more. I still have the trophies.

If you must have a Ferrari V-12 and don't have a lot of cash available for the purchase, the 456 model could be the ticket. A good used example can be found for $100,000 or less. Of course, it's an older Ferrari, so you'll have to expect some repairs and pricey maintenance.
The 456 was available with manual transmission or automatic, but in those days (1990s) the 3-pedal cars still outnumbered the autos. To my eye, the 456 was and is gorgeous. Here are a few photos to illustrate.

By the late 1950s, Pininfarina pretty much had the styling of Ferrari automobiles to itself, although there would still be a small number of cars from other bodybuilders.
This 1960 Ferrari 250GT Pininfarina coupe was considered the bottom of the line and was out shadowed by its racier counterparts but was still a very desirable car. It still had that marvelous Ferrari 3-liter V-12 and was a bit more luxuriously trimmed. Its lesser value to collectors has meant that some PF coupes have been cut up and converted to replicas of more valuable cars such as the 250GT Tour de France or SWB berlinettas.
