Yeah being a Lions fan, I don't put too much stock into who goes to the Pro Bowl, but... +10 TD, -2 INT, ~+6 QBR.... And all the comebacks (was it three or four of 17+ pts each?)...? Leading a team from a 6-10 season to a 10-5 season with pretty much the only change being that Stafford is healthy...? I don't get it.

...I know the Lions are not quite playing at the level of a 10 or 11 win team, but to only have one guy on the Pro Bowl roster...? Avril could have been considered, given his stats, of course CJ goes, and Stafford should have been a shoo-in. Granted, he has his hurr durr moments, but compared to the other choices out there, he should have made the roster.

I don't know why I even care. The Pro Bowl is a joke. I think I've only ever tried to watch one, but the selections do actually mean something.

And no Devin Hester? Wow the few times teams do give him a juicy returnable punt, he bends em over. He bent us over on punts that shouldn't have been returned.... How could he not be selected? Is it because the Bears already had guys going on rep alone?

Are the selections this far off every year?

No it's simply because Patrick Peterson had 4 return touchdowns to Hester's 3.

Yeah pretty much.

Hester led in big returns, average, and also can return kicks. But yeah I guess it's about the big stat (TDs) and best highlight reel returns.

Scary to think that there's another guy in the league on/near the same level as Hester.

Well if the "Eli look" is pouting and looking like he's going to cry, then I think we're talking about the same face. He just always looks like a fat kid whose Mom just told him he's not going trick-or-treating for Hallowe'en. He also hangs his head a lot.

How do they plan on winning lots more rings? To be honest, I haven't been paying tons of attention to them this year, but they have two good backs, some stellar receiving performances, a decent QB, and a helluva pass rush.... So how are they 8-7? Not trying to troll, I just haven't been keeping up with other teams' dilemmas who we don't play this year.

That being said, I'm rooting for the Cowboys. I'd rather play them than the New York Football Giants. Of course that doesn't matter so much if we don't win and Atlanta does win though.

Well, 7 DB's on IR has hurt the defense this year a lot, Perry Fewell insisting that the run a technical D with a patchwork secondary, when he dumbed it down last week they got after the passer, albeit Mark Sanchise who was sacked 5 times and should have been more if not for the Tuck rule and some questionable officiating.
The run game has been horrid due to a patchwork line after Suebert and O'hara were cut after the strike. ELIte has carried the offense this season, which is why he made the pro bowl over Stafford
