Much better, it was quick.

I don't know if it was the burrito or it's bc i didn't eat much all day and as soon as i put something in my stomach things went out of control.

Crappy 91 octane fuel in Arizona. Picked up a 32oz can of Torco (so I can always have some with me) and a 5 gallon bucket of it. The 5 gallon bucket is basically a year's supply (it has a 2 year shelf life) for about $250. I keep the funnel in a gallon sized zip lock bag and the 32oz can in the trunk. After I fill up, I add 1oz of Torco per gallon of fuel added. One ounce of Torco per gallon of 91 = roughly 94 octane.

Mr Tonka

Have you ever used anything like this for indoors? Thinking about getting one for winter time.

@Axius this is our trainer set up, aka Lups set up on the pain maker. Lol

We've tried a couple of brands and really like this cyclops trainer. I'll find the model it is in a little bit. But you don't want to cheap out on a trainer. I may call this one the pain maker, but the others we've used were just miserable to ride on.

What kind of bike do you plan on using with it?

Just want to use it with my mountain bike for now because I probably won't get a road bike until late next year. The one I found had good reviews for a standard setup and not having to pay a fortune, because I have a lot of shit coming up if I plan on making all these trips in 2016.

Be sure what ever you get can accommodate a mtn bike tire. I know the cyclops fluid2 will. That's the one we have. It's threefiddy. Kinetic is a good brand too. But probably the biggest thing is to make sure what you get will accommodate the fat tire.

Is there a way to figure out my wheel size without physically measuring it? Says this goes up to 29'' and I don't think I'm larger than 29'' if you catch my drift.

Standard is 26" wheel. 29" Mtb bike wheels are all the rage these days. So if it goes up to 29" you're good to go.

Thanks for the info. Wife is unhappy with current set up and may check this out. Hers has way too low of resistance. She said reviews show this one doesn't have lots of resistance either. Are you a 100 mile day guy?

She won't complain about the resistance with the cyclops fluid 2.

No, working up to a 100 mile a week guy for a specific trip in July. Currently at 40-50 miles a week but just got a road bike on Dec 5. Plan to hold that through mid Feb then jump to 75-80 per week until mid May where I'll jump to 100 a week.

Wife rides 80-100 a week for fun. She put 5721 miles on her bike computer in 2015. After this trip I'm looking to do about 2500 miles a year.

The ride were doing in July is about 400 miles in 6 days. The kicker is that there is also about 20,000 of elevation gain as well. Florida boy here..... Lol
