Try a HARD RESET INSTEAD of soft reset which you described you have done & see if that helps. BMW Service manager told me when there’s a Glitch to do this.

HARD RESET
* START CAR & LEAVE IN PARK
* THEN PUSH & HOLDING DOWN THE CYLINDER VOLUME CONTROL ON CENTER CONSOLE UNTIL THE SCREEN CYCLES OFF & ON 2-3 TIMES. You should see a bunch of moving lines on the screen cycle off & on 2-3 times. This should take about 1 minute.

Mine from 07/2023 x23d does not show this.

My car has been updated to 11/2024 via the dealership as it had to be recovered due to the faulty IBS system (the large recall).
I may be imagining it but the transmission seems smoother on this new update, remote unlocking via mobile also seems more responsive when trying the first time overnight. Heated steering wheel is still very poor, especially compared to the 3 series loan I had.
