In the two episodes I’ve watched there’s nothing that would indicate they’re establishing the predicate to send a political message.
Those concepts and others, such as ensuring most shows now have a gay relationship, are the foundation for political messaging in so many shows now. So this one would be the exception if it is not the case here. The phrase “tackling themes of…” almost announces it as such. But like I said, I’ll give it a shot and see if it is worth watching.

Edit: Got 1/2 way through first episode. Don't know if they will get into playing politics, but found the show unwatchable anyway. So that's the end of that.

I just started episode 2 of Mayor of Kingstown on Paramount+ and Jeremy Renner and Kyle Chandler are very good. I would not want to anger either one but it’s Diane Weiss that I’m afraid of…

My wife and I would love to add this to our list once we finish up Dexter our current daily watch. Kingstown is filmed in Kingston Ontario, we live just north of the city. I have to figure out how to watch it in Canada, damn streaming services.

I’m with you. I wanted to like it - and really tried to get into the latest Season of Narcos, but just can’t...

Liking this one which I just started watching, kinda like Sliding Doors w Gwyneth Paltrow. It's neat that they don't spend too long of a time in one timeline so you're not zoned out and everything is kept up-to-date, a nice balance the director manages to pull off.

For some strange reason I forgot about this one but luckily found it again. Lots of interesting twists and storylines.

I just finished season 2 this weekend, I quite enjoyed it, great storyline and humor, as well as the twist at the end, also loved Gillian Anderson's guest role, she's always excellent.

He's pure slimebag sycophant, and 'Greggers' is an awkward doofus, it's hilarious!

I'm afraid to tune in and like La Brea

Is it Thursday yet for next Foundation, brother Day?

I know it's a cheesy knock-off of GoT, but I enjoy See

Ya, that girl pretending to me the lead's electrocuted dad for Halloween was pretty cringe haha.

Still watchable, at least seems better than the movies.
