I think you guys are thinking about the "powder parmesan" that can sit on a shelf for months. This cheese, albeit not the best that I buy, is grated and has a short refrigerated shelf life. I normally buy a block and shred it myself.

Jelly. We have one legit Mexican restaurant around here. They just closed my favorite Indian food place. No Korean or Peruvian food anywhere.

I'd love to try Korean, but we have none in the entire region that I'm aware of. Our small town has more pizza places per capita than any other place on Earth outside of Italy, and at least a half dozen Chinese takeout places.

We *do* have a Peruvian restaurant that everyone raves about that's 10 miles from home, and it has been there for over 30 years. Never been there myself, but the menu looks interesting and I'm thinking that it may be worth a visit one of these days.....

Burgers are my specialty. Sort of disappointing though, when I crave a burger, I can't order one at a restaurant because it's never as good as at home, it's always good, but not the best. A curse, if you will.
