My missus and I am happy with it. It’s all relative though. We have another SUV with air suspension, it’s not as good as that. We also have a high end P-car, it’s better than that. My wife is coming out of a 22 Golf R, much better than that. (That was a disappointing car). She also has a M240i running 18s, that’s better than the X1.

I can’t tell the difference between the 20’s and the 19’s

Don’t know if that helps.

pics taken after driving through the biggest thunderstorm ever in my 3-month-old X1... found shelter inside a garage and waited 2 hours for the storm to pass.

had to drive another half hour before finding a gas station that was not flooded. almost ran out because I was down to just 20 miles of range

Ceramic coated with Gtechniq CSL and EXO, wheels coated in CSL and Carpro Gliss. Engine bay plastics coated with EXO. Next weekend, interior leather gets coated in Carpro Leather 2.0.

What is this leather coting that you're getting? Wait a second.. the now offer leather on the X1 in the US? It wasn't available when I ordered mine last year.

well, I actually think Sensatec is better than real leather(animal skin).

I have Alcantara seats and they look nice.... but boy, they are like lint magnets.

Space silver is a somewhat interesting silver color. Depending on the lighting condition, it can look silver, grey, dark grey, gunmetal, and sometimes even with a tiny hint of green/blue.(not sure why)

It’s the micas in tbe paint that allow this “different colour look” in different lighting. Same with the storm bay, looks flat grey, metallic grey and sometimes bluish depending on lighting

love those red seats! I would have ordered them if BMW included red seat belts with them.(like what Mercedes offers with their GLA/GLB(?) with red interior)

was getting ice cream the other day and saw two other nice cars next to my Space Silver X1. At first, I only noticed the hot red Range Rover Evoque...then I noticed the X1's cousin: black Mini Countryman.

Finally taken delivery of my fully loaded X1 xdrive30e PHEV, Cape York Green and Mocha leather/wood trim. Very pleased overall; fast, comfortable and cheap to run too!

Edit: Really liked the black trim of the windows/rails but looks like I can't configure it like this. I thought it used to be without cost, but not it's mentioned as 'shadow pack' or something and an extra 1k is added on the price. Do you know if this is this accurate? Or did you have it painted afterwards?

Edit2: My mistake, configurator was messing around.. already contacted to change my trim/rail colors to black like yours!
