This was a great comeback win for the Birds... real nail-biter until the end (for both teams and fans)

One of the best games this past weekend (imo).

I apologize to everyone who watched that disaster of a football game between the Bears and the Vikes last night. That was sooooo bad. And to all folks who were ready to sign Dobbs to a long-term deal and write off Cousins you need to sober up.

You know what was even worse and more concern than Dobbs....
Fields. I actually feel for the kid. I'm not sure if it's the Coaching, System or him?
He won't return to Chicago next season.

Agreed and I believe he is the issue. He has trouble processing the routes down field and takes too long to determine where to pass the ball. He is an elite athlete and got by in college as a QB with college level competition. I would love to see a team convert him into a Taysom Hill type of role. Why couldn't he catch some passes, run the ball, and every once and a while chuck the ball down the field? Chicago should cut ties with Fields and then draft a QB and Marvin Harrison Jr. with their two first round picks in April.

Chicago's problems are deeper than the talent on the field. Matt Eberflus is not the answer and I expect him to get fired at the end of the season. He's not an NFL Head Coach. This shit ain't for everybody.

Agree about the Bear's coaching, but problems there don't stop with him. All the high draft positions they've been in for years, what do they have to show for it? They have a great spot to draft again this year....anyone think they won't screw it up again? Drafting a guy like Fields is a classic move. When was the last really good OSU quarterback? (aside from Stroud of course) They are all great athletes that thrive in the college game with run and pass but are not NFL ready QBs. The Lions finally turned it around after so many down years, eventually the Bears will too. But prolly not with the group they have now.

Most definitely and Ryan Pace got fired for that. He had an awful record of acquiring talent - both drafting players and securing free agents - and hiring head coaches. He hit on maybe 5-6 players in what I believe was 8 years. He hired John Fox and Matt Nagy as coaches. Not good. And let's not talk about the draft capital that guy traded away relative to what he got in return. Just bad all around. What's interesting about the NFL is these teams create an environment where a meritocracy is created and maintained for the players to a fault at times, but that same approach does not align with how they care for the front office. Teams hire mediocre performers on a loop. Some of these guys are not good at what they do; however, they continue to be enriched and rewarded personally (financial) and professionally (experience/stature) while others are locked out. It's wild to me, I don't get it. Well, I do, but I don't if that makes sense.

It's nice that they are valuable.

It's time they live up to the winning ways and get back into the Superbowl. They are long overdue.

Ugly game but Dak put the team on his back and balled out.

defense forgot to show up, secondary looked terrible, especially our safeties, but Dak played a near perfect game.

Now we need to keep the momentum going and actually finish the game vs the Eagles this time.

I'd pretty much given up on pro sports a few years ago. Today, I was at my neighbors house and he asked me to stick around for the 49er-Eagles game.

I have to say I really enjoyed the game. After 1 quarter, I thought the 49ers were toast, playing a great team in their own stadium. Their ability to suck it up and get to work was pretty incredible.

One more observation: I haven't sat down and watched a whole game in maybe 5 years. I think the camera work has improved.

I'm actually looking forward to watching again.

Philly got absolutely destroyed by SF. I did not see that coming at all. The Eagles clearly need to make adjustments when they play SF again; however, I'm not sure they are equipped to do so. December should be fun. It will also be interesting to hear all of the excuses.

I’m not sure if any team has the personnel to stop SF. Especially in today’s NFL where you can’t hit anyone. Philly is not what they were last year, KC is having a down year, Dallas is Dallas, and everyone else is flawed. Outside of injuries I don’t see anyone stopping SF. Getting CMC for next to nothing was more or less an unstoppable cheat code for SF. But then again it’s the NFL and anything can happen.

All I know.... This last stretch of games will seperate the contenders from the pretenders.

I did not expect Philly to get absolutely smoked!
But... I will remind everyone, that they have had to play from behind damn near all season. And they have allowed a lot of points. So their Defense is very suspect.
I feel confident in saying, DALLAS will prevail next Sunday Night.

What the heck happened in Lambeaux last night?!?!? I tuned in for the last two minutes, and it was extremely enjoyable to watch the 2-minute drive meltdown as a lifelong Bills fan.....

The Chiefs aren't as strong as they've been in years past. I think people underestimated the impact of Eric B. and Tyreek Hill departing. Tyreek Hill added a dimension to their offense they haven't been able to replicate.

Chiefs offense absolutely not as good as its been in years past. Receiving corps is just avg at best. But their defense has been very good. That's what surprised me last night was how well Love handled all the Chiefs blitzing. Packers have a good young receiving group, Love looking like a real QB, and LaFluer has been calling a great game. Plenty of high draft picks next year, $60 mil in cap space opening up, GB future looking pretty bright.....for a team that everyone picked to finish last in the division.

Agree. The Packers started out decent and then stumbled. Seems like they're surging again and are looking for a Playoff spot. Not an earth shattering take, but the Packers will only go as far as Love can take them. When he turns the ball over they lose. When he protects the football they win. Look at his line from the Ws and Ls and it's eye opening. But yeah, the arrow is pointing up for them. I think what will be most telling is what happens next year. You know how this goes, once the tape is out on a QB, you either sink or swim.

As a Vikes fan there is a growing paranoia that Love will be the next 15 years of hall-of-fame QB'ing for the Packers. When they show the stats of Rodgers' first 10 to 12 games to Love's they look eerily similar....
