Thats the fun of it. I'm not saying watches suck, what I meant was I find them redundant when the time is displayed everywhere.

By the way, some (most) of the cell phones will not help you with time when you're traveling. BlackBerry for example stays on the original time, so, the watch is your friend...or you can calculate... But hey, similarly as in FirstClass other comments, it is obvious he's never left his home town... |

As far as being cheesy, . The BMW logo is subtle enough that you really only notice it if you look really closely (there is a larger print on the clasp, and a roundel etched into the back which noone will ever see ), I would consider a BMW watch cheesy if the entire face was a blue and white roundel or something you could see the brand association from 10 feet away or more. Although I guess I can get away with alot of BMW swag since I'm gainfully employed by them. I like it because it reminds me that I'm still representing the company everywhere I go when i'm out of my E90 or away from work, even though 99% of the people that i will come in contact with won't even realize it's a BMW watch. THe only people who notice are people who I tell, or people who are really into watches. -BMW2006 |

When I joined the Air Force I bought a Casio G-shock. Big Black Rubber clunky thing. But it served me well in what turned out to be a pretty active term of service. I grew attached to it and really began appreciating it's absolute indestructibility.
Well, a couple of years after I got out of the Military Casio released this Model. The 1200BA, I decided I'd like to have a new one, I still have my war weary g-shock, but I thought a new High-speed Low-Drag G-shock would be cool. It's Solar Powered, Syncs with the atomic Clock, and is pretty much indestructible. I've got a couple Movados, a Stainless Blue Faced Rolex Daytona, and a whole drawer full of other Nice watches, but I still end up wearing this one the most. Sentimental maybe, but its a watch I don't have to be careful with.

the watches I find most intriguing cost about as much as the E92, so I'll just appreciate them as the art pieces they are.
I want this one real bad though... Corum Vanitas I could do without the Over done Diamonds but otherwise I love the watch...

I also collect chronographs. Some people think I am crazy cause you can only wear one at a time. Oh well....... I'm crazy to order one of these expensive cars that have reliability issues and take forever to be built and delivered too !!!
- Breitling B-1 - Breitling Montbriliant Datora - Breitling Chronospace - Rado DiaStar Chrono with ceramic band - Seiko Sportura - Corum Admirals Cup 44 with blue rubber band - Oris Schumacher BMW chrono - Seiko World Timer - Breitling 6.75 Bentley - Casio Americas Cupchrono I actually wear them all too !!!! Someday my son will inherit them. He also collects chronos. |

Some cool watches in here. Next I want either a Breitling Super Avenger or maybe a Baume and Mercier Capeland S, but that is to be decided.
