A nice rainy February day...

Expecting all of the remaining snow will be gone by this weekend.

Pretty much calling for the same thing here in Cincinnati, OH.

Yeah, I was up in Kenwood around noon today and the wind gusts were ferocious. On the upside, it was 70°...in the first week of Feb.!

I was downtown yesterday and walking around to get lunch and coffee was pretty crazy.

Give me 40s and sunny until spring time. Then it can get to be in the 60s and sunny.

It was 78 , breezy, and dry (21) when I got home around 4:30 yesterday.
Today, it's barely 63, humidity is back near 60, and it's supposed to get colder thru the weekend.

After the warm spell, all the snow slides off and compact itself on the ground, normally when it happened I go out immediately to remove it while its soft.

Unfortunately we were away and there was a flash freeze overnight and when we get home this morning it was frozen solid

Craziness coming up this week. 50s tomorrow thru Tuesday, then mid to upper 60s on Wed and Thu. Then back to our regularly scheduled cold.

The low Wednesday is forecasted at 35F. That’s close to freezing. We rarely see that here in SoCal.

Going to take my walk now. Temp is 47. Will bring a jacket.

They are spouting numbers like 28 around here for Wed/Thurs overnight, along with gusts to 60mph. I think I'm going to have to move Solokeet into a shed for a few days.

<There used to be 2 parakeets in the cage but a cat found it could reach thru the bars, if not get the prize. Now there's just Solo.>

Yeah, that’s plant damaging weather. And, of course, bring any animals in. I’ll be hand watering some sensitive plants in case we see freezing weather here.

Unseasonably warm this year, the farmers almanac was not even close. Only cold bout we have had was last week when the whole country was gripped with -25 F for two days then it rebounded into the high 40's

I have not plowed or blown snow at all this year. I did shovel a 3" storm and wished I had mounted my plow on my tractor but I was procrastinating. I happened to notice yesterday that i need new hydraulic lines for it and thinking I should do the same for the two stage snow blower as well.
