This last storm brought about 3" to my 5 gallon buckets. Dry now until next Tues/Wed. We are at 24" for the season, and our well has come up 20' since November. Still, only 50 so far today.
In the very near future I hope to take advantage of an invite to go tour the local diversion dam that puts water into our settling grounds. I can't make it to the full day tour that includes some lake dams and actually walking the settling grounds, but maybe future opportunity will arise.

Twin Cities, MN weather continues to persist on the cold side. Average high temp for March is supposed to be 42, but we have seen several days in the 20's, and even colder. 40's in the forecast the next few days and no snow so maybe we are turning a corner.

72° F right now. The forecast is for a drop into the high-40s to low-50s and ~3" of rain starting at 6 PM this evening and ending around 6 AM Saturday morning. We don't really need the rain – and certainly not that much.

I live in the Bay Area and we've had a bunch of rain. I'm not complaining because California needs the water but it got a little old having storm after storm blowing through here.
Today was different. Today we got a cloudless, bright blue sky day. The constant rain made the hiking trails a muddy and washed out but the landscape is this magnificent green from the wet weather. Next month the wildflowers will be in bloom but right now all we have is green. |

After a snowy February and early March, we got a taste of spring, only to have winter return for a few days. At least the afternoon temps have meant that the snow doesn't pile up too much.

Another snow day...
My contractor just left my laneway. My partner informed me yesterday that she was closing the clinic today. It will give a chance to the snow removal company to clear our parking lot.I think I'll get myself another coffee. Think Spring.  |

My top-head got sunburned this weekend, working in the yard. Don't feel it on the shoulders, but probably got over-exposed there too.
Windy today, rain/snow on the way for mid-week.
