even some of the wider "L" glass will have some vignetting. but that is more than you should have, but he did add some.

i was between the 24-70 f/2.8 and the 17-55 f/2.8 IS. i went with the 17-55 for the is and im on a 40D crop body. tho if they ever come out a 24-70 2.8 IS im dupming the 17-55 so fast.
the slim filters are really good for stopping the vinetting, but had issues rotating the filter with the lens hood in place. so i went with the regular size cpl filter from B&W. the f-pro series is easy as butter to rotate and doesnt give too much vinetting on wide angle stuff.

Wow, that reminded me of a shot I took years ago on Santorini. I had to go find it. The Hawaii lighthouse is a dead ringer for the one on Santorini.
