Koi for CBD. My wife really had some improvements in sleep and therefore her grip strength after work (she wasn't dropping coffee cups any more) I wouldn't know about THC because #coppers |

Old enough to remember when the Beatles first hit the music scene...My older sister came home from Xmas shopping with the VJ labeled "Introducing the Beatles" which was almost immediately confiscated by my parents as "immoral" and with the secondary excuse that the record was cheaply made and would likely cause their RCA Victor Sterophonic record player to self-destruct.
However, we were able to learn where they had hidden the offensive LP and when they would go out to Christmas shop, we would rush upstairs and grab it out of my father's closet, rush downstairs and listen to it until we saw their Ford Galaxie come around the corner. We'd shut everything off in a panic and bring the record back upstairs to its hiding place. This little game of cat and mouse went on for weeks. The news came out that Ed Sullivan was to host the Beatles for their first appearance in the US and we begged to be able to watch them...it fell on deaf ears until that very Sunday night when at 7:00 we all gathered together, us 5 kids and ganged up on my father who finally relented after a series of "Come on Dads" and Puleazes! They were watched on our little black and white Zenith console TV in the family room and I do believe even Dad liked them. It was the start of Beatlemania for many! |

Don't get me wrong, I do believe he was a great player. Certainly among the best up to that point in time. I quit watching during that era so I cannot compare him to anyone since then. |

VW's with air cooled motors. Good luck with the defrosters in cold weather. Constantly wiping off the windshield with a rag all winter long. One time coming back from skiing, we had to take turns reaching out and scraping the windshield coming down the pass. Partner would steer looking though his freshly scraped area while I scraped the drivers side. Could not stop as the only thing we could sorta see were the tail lights of the car ahead of us. good times.

sealed beam headlights. Nothing like a light that you had to take off half the front end of your car to replace the headlight (1st gen Toyota 4Runner). I had to replace 1 light a year the entire time I owned that car.

Remember when the family dog got fed once a day? If lucky, maybe with some canned Alpo mixed in?
So primitive then. Our little mongrel Onslow shops for his food at the same store we do now.... Murf Last edited by Littlebear; 05-05-2020 at 09:59 AM.. |

Anybody remember candy cigarettes? They had an awful wintergreen flavor and the one end was dipped in red dye so it looked like it was lit. Evil.
