But Mclaren sure improved in the rain, and Lando too, after that bad performance in brazil

And what a drive from ANT!
Too bad from that 5sec penalty, but he did a fantastic race as a rookie. Especially after that bad qualifying.

PIA must be very disappointed...

And Ferrari didn't convince.
Not in the dry, not in the wet, and not in strategy.
They have a lot of work to do. Hammy too, as LEC was way way faster at times.

It really does! And tires don’t seem to get affected much. Those engineers in Woking are doing a brilliant job

Yeah, in the dry races we're gonna have, that difference will only be bigger....

McLaren is gonna dominate this season.
Unless RB comes with a miracle update, but I think the chances of that are slim and RB (and pretty much every team) will put all their funds and time in next year rulechange.
I already thought the development of this years cars from last years were minor changes when I saw them in bahrein

I see MAX nearly had the race in the bag but ironically for him being on slicks it started to rain heavier forcing him to pit allowing Lando to lead but the finish separated them by under a second.

Mclarens have a set up that conserves the tyres even cooling them more and outdriving everyone, it's as if they have a different compound to the rest of the field.

The Smooth Operator's explanation for his off and crash was 'massive torque surge' in the Williams.
Shame about the Ferrari pace after so much media hype about fireworks to come from them with LEW in the team but at least both cars finished, still 8th (Charlie) and 10th is disappointing for the reds. Often forgotten Hulkenberg being 7th should be a Kick up the backside for the media pundits to mention him more.

That was exciting. Glad there was rain and as a result a lot of drama. When it's dry those McLarens are gone and no one can follow.

I saw how it happened to SO and kind of felt bad for him, was wanting to see more but the race was unbelievable and downright absurd, what a start for 2025...

After Yuki was doing so well in qualifying, never could have imagined that he struggled like that..What a mixed bag and not to mention the MB...

But I wonder.... did Yuki make any mistake? Obviously he's not been in the spotlight continously, but did het get off track... go wide etc at any point?

Sure he didn't come in like LEC and HAM, but that's a strategic error from the team, coming in with the next safety car.

The only other driver I think that hasn't made a mistake is I believe RUS.
Sure he wasn't fast enough to play any role in the fight between Max and the McLarens, but I haven't seen him go wide or off track.
I mean even Max made a little mistake where he went wide (but still on track) that one time. A rare sight.
Lando went off track, Oscar obviously but also ANT, LEC HAM...
Don't remember about ALB, STR (of all people....

) and HULK...they get little media exposure.

If the crash from BOR and LAW would've been a red flag, the possible podium could've been:
1. HAM
2. LEC
3. TSU
this was a glimps moment the situation when Max and GAS pitted for inters

think about that...

(although NOR surely would've caught TSU and Max probably too. But the Ferrari's...who knows....)
