GSP will destroy Koscheck. He needs to shut him up.
Also looking forward to the Thiago Alves vs. John Howard fight. I really like Charles Oliveira over Jim Miller. I was impressed when Charles defeated Efrain Escudero which led to Efrain being kicked out of UFC. |

My prediction, Koscheck controls the first 2 rounds and breaks GSP. After that I can see alot of takedowns from Koscheck! Not really predicting a KO either way so Ill say Koscheck by decision. Bringin the title back to the Black and Yellow... uhh huh!

I'm pumped for the GSP v Koschek fight. I'm confident GSP will win but I'm predicting a close fight. I haven't seen GSP this amped for a fight and he normally avoids the smack talk but Koschek has really got under his skin this time. He's right though, if he defeats Koschek than it's over for Koschek. I think if anyone can beat GSP it will be Koschek though and he's a complete fighter now.
I'm also keen to see Alves and Howard fight as well as Oliveria who looks promising. I'm not sure what's planned for ufc after this but the next card which stands out to me is ufc 126. Belfort v Silva, Bader v Jones, Griffin v Franklin. Should be a great card. |

Jon "Bones" Jones vs. Ryan "Darth" Bader will be insane. However, I think Bones will beat him. I think Jon Jones will be force to reckon with in future of the UFC Light Heavyweight division.

Agreed. I think he is the new Anderson Silva which is a big call. It will be good to see them both compete on the same card. Bader is tough but Jones is the next big thing.

+1 I'm sure Dana White knows his potential and marketing power so he doesn't want to rush him yet.

Just finished watching UFC 124. Pretty good watch with some crazy upsets. The ME was to be expected. COMPLETE DOMINATION. Still wishing for that KO tho |

Impressive performance by GSP, he really proved himself. He looked technically perfect and sustained no damage. I was surprised by the Oliveira tap out.

I will be the first to say, that was EMBARRASSING!! I have tried to back up Josh forever, and still will cause hes my buddy but wow... that was just an awful performance. Koscheck was just on his heels the whole time, like he didnt even want to win. And Im not tryin to take anything away from GSP, cause he definitely did prove himself tonight. He looked very solid!

amazing card overall, every single fight was exciting to watch
Jim Miller pulling thru w/ a huge upset, I have always been a fan of his but I def didnt see the fight going that way. Alves looked great, you can tell this new diet has made a huge diff. Mac Danzig came thru w/ a great KO, which I called 10 sec into the fight, Mac kept throwing it and I knew it was just a matter of time before it lands. Mark Bocek w/ a sick submission victory against a great bjj fighter. The main event went as I figured, although I didnt think GSP would stand up w/ him that much. He really dominated Kos in every way. Pretty amazing that no matter who you put in front of him, GSP tends to dominate the fight |

GSP is the man. Did anyone watch the post-conference interviews? He really needs to step up and fight Silva and some new faces in the UFC. He is dominating everyone too easily at 170. It seems to be the topic of interest every time he makes a public appearance too. GSP is in his prime and Silva is nearing the end of his MMA career, this would be a great fight for the fans. I hope they make it happen some day.
It looks like I won't be going to UFC again when it comes to Australia again either. The fight card for UFC 127 looks pretty lame. BJ Penn is fighting Fitch, I'm not sure about you guys but I would rather him fight anyone but Fitch. |

you are crazy for not going, Carlos Condit is gonna be on that card against Chris Lytle, thats gonna be a war and a half. I think the BJ fight will be good too, specially if its the same BJ that fought Hughes |

Some great fights at UFC 124! Thiago Alves again demonstrated why pretty much everyone avoids standing in front of him. There are probably only 2 or 3 people in the entire UFC that could stand in front of him and exchange.
Another outstanding performance by GSP. I was hoping to see Josh get submitted but GSP likes to play it safe and why deal with Josh's wrestling when he was crushing him with his jab and quick combination. The only thing Josh had was his heavy right hand and GSP read that coming a long ways out. So I can see why GSP stuck with it. He is a smart fighter and he fights to win. Not sure if there will ever be a GSP vs Silva fight. Silva isn't going to make 170 and GSP really has no desire to go up to 185. If they did fight though, I suspect GSP would beat him. Silva won't be able to handle GSP's wrestling ability combined with his speed. He just wouldn't be able to dance around like he normally does. Also Silva is on the decline, I don't think he has much left in him unfortunately. I think he is tired of fighting (more specifically of the insane amount of conditioning and training required). I'm sure he is physically capable but I don't think the desire is there to keep going much longer. Bones Jones vs Bader was a match destined to happen. Call me crazy but I think Bader will beat him.

GSP attempted several takedowns actually. Some were stuffed. Some Koscheck was able to get back up.
GSP still has challenges in Shields/Condit. I don't think Lytle is a legit contender, tough guy but not upper echelon.
