Possible delays for US M4 GTS

Yes only delivered registered cars are still in canada, I think 8 of us so far....but I'm sure that will change soon enough....

The recall takes no time at all. they did mine with the break-in service.

I highly doubt it and no idea where you get that from. If there is an issue with head protection, then there wont be any GTS delivered in the USA at all. Santa Monica BMW delivered 1 already and Seattle BMW is about to deliver another.

EDIT: Concord BMW has one for sale with a $25k market adjustment! Mineral Grey with CF Wheels; a May production car.

I know I know......on one hand I was being sarcastic...on the other.... 25k for a carbon wheeled car is still very little for the all the info we've been getting up to this point, which has been closer to 60-100k adjustments

I got information from BMW Customer Relations when inquiring about the release of my vehicle from VPC. I knew about the diff issue, but then they threw this at me.

He isn't wrong. As stated in my other post there is an issue with the harness. It's not been classified as a safety issue just a comfort issue but unfortunately there are now 2 bloody issues - suspension/diff and harness.

I'm still without update on delivery and mine was due almost 2 weeks ago....

issue with an "harness" can be so many things, is it a electrical harness or the seat belt harness?

The seatbelts used in the M4 GTS seems to be identical to that of the M4 comp pack. So are the comp pack affected by this issue as well?

My GTS was built (April production) before the diff issue, but its affected by the suspension bushing issue. The dealer had the suspension bushing changed out as per the recall, but the noise is still there. I can live with the noise for now and will wait for more GTS to be delivered to see if others have the same issue as well.

Can someone elaborate what's is the comfort issue with the harness? I'm guess we are speaking about the 3 point seatbelt since US cars don't come with the 5/6 point harness. Thanks in advance!
