No idea if they will add or remove anything for the MY24, it’s all very market dependant anyway it can go either way.

On the ride, if you can I would option the normal non M-Sport if you are worried about ride or height. They aren’t miles different to each other but the other suspension is more forgiving and it does ride higher.

Edited to add though I’m not sure you can add the non msport suspension on a PHEV.

I would say that Thailand roads are “unpredictable” but not undriveable, so I guess I will not have any troubles.

Actually I am a foreigner here in Thailand, so I just wish that Thailand roads will not be something like “amazing Thailand” 😅

Thanks, dealer told me that the price is planned to be increased from MY24, so just wondering what might be added (or just a simple price raise to compensate the currency situation?).

Yeah, the disappointing thing is that BMW Thailand does not provide much option for customers - it will be either 20i or 30e M Sport. The adaptive M suspentions are not available for any X1 models. I was looking for a compact & fun & powerful SUV, so I had no choice here.

Not so worried about ride though. I really enjoyed driving a Miata when I lived in Japan, so I guess M Sport suspentions would definitely not be a problem for me😁 Might need to take care of complaints from the passenger seat 🫣

the "Adapative Suspension isn't electronic it is a mechanical system that the driver cant adjust, Some of the guys have written lots about it on previous threads so you wont be missing much.

I have an X1 25e M Sport on order. Are the tyres fitted to the standard 19” rims summer tyres or all season in the UK?

Just normal summer tyres, Pirelli P Zeros which aren’t run flat, they seem good so far.

Yeah true, the PHEV starts as RWD as default then goes to 4WD it fires up the ICE. It’s also undershoot the car leaves some power in the battery to ensure that it’s able to offer 4WD if required especially at slower speeds.

It’s a new company car lease order to replace the current motor when the lease expires next year. I’ve no firm dates yet.

I had a look before my original post and found it difficult but eventually found something. However, it had American spelling and wasn’t sure if it applied to the UK or even the PHEV hence turned to the Bimmerpost community. Also, what I did find was only the 20” wheel.

As Monty says they are 245/45/R19 and 40 on the 20”. If you have a look on the bmw accessories site you can see the same wheels though they are the all black winter wheels. There are also some bi colour ones for sale on a Dutch site with the tyre size.

Or in the app scroll down to charging then charging settings then edit and choose your preferred setting.

As above, in app is the way we do it. Quickies way is to click the area that shows the range and it takes you into the charging area of the app. Look in that area and you see a charging target and edit to the right. Click and set as you need.

You can also set when you want it to charge and pre climates etc as well.

How many kilometers or miles did you drive with ICE before reaching full throttle? The manual advises not exceeding 4500 rpm or 160 km/h within the initial 2000 kilometers. However, this might take a significant amount of time for a PHEV.

The PHEV engines are often less strained and do have a bit of a hard life in some instances. There is no getting away putting your foot down and the engine kicking in having to really go for it.

We did a few longer trips and put maintain battery on to get some miles on it is the easiest way to do it. But pampering a PHEV engine is very hard.
