O.M.G. Every day I'm flooded with reports of lost or found animals. Like 50 a day (I've been counting). I'm totally mystified.
I've lived at my address for 15 years and I think I've helped find a lost pet maybe twice? And on one occasion, the pet actually found me - a neighbor's dog literally jumped in my car so I just drove her home. Smart girl, finding a car she actually knew after she got lost.
I mean, are people around here just idiots who report all these false alarms? Or are there somehow thousands of neglectful pet owners in my community that I've somehow never met??

There is a FB page here Wifey follows where people report lost and found pets. All too often it's the same dumbass owners whose dog got loose again or their cat escaped again. Over and over. Some people are just too stupid to have pets in their care.
