for the 2023 X1 in some EU countries, it was possible to order the paddle shifters without the M Sport package. Below is a post by someone who did just that. a 2023 X1 with X-Line trim and paddle shifters. I was searching for paddle shifters and saw those pictures. Those paddle shifters are different than the M Sport paddle shifters in my X1. Not sure if it's possible in 2024 or 2025.

It was an option but in my case, altough i'm quite unhappy with the outcome, it's still the best option due to resell for leasing. A Peugeot 408 would be more expensive then the X1 for example.

So I placed my order for 2025 X2 M35i with dealership last week. How long before I get a production number and about how long before it gets delivered to my dealership in Atlanta, Georgia? My lease is up in November and I hope I have ordered my new vehicle in enough time!Ive never ordered a car before and want to get an idea of timeline from those that have ordered. Thanks in advance!

I don't know about BMW, but other manufacturers have no problem extending current leases while you wait for your ordered new vehicle to arrive. If your current lease is for a BMW, just have the dealer figure it out for you.

I've had leases extended from a couple of months to as long as 11 months because the new cars/SUVs I ordered from German was delayed. They just charged me the exact same monthly lease rate and then prorated the mileage for however many extra months I needed to keep the leased cars.
